MADE IN VAN NUYS, CALIFORNIA, USA
First of all...MADE IN THE U.S.A.
First of all...MADE IN THE U.S.A. Then, my little beagle girls just love these. they are chewable and consumable and so much better than the chew sticks (that last a lot longer) that beagles, in a moment of "food protection" can swallow large pieces that may block intestines. No such problem with these. And since they're made here with no chemical additives they are so much better!! And...you get a LOT in the package!
I've purchased 24 times! Made in AMERICA, not CHINA!!
My dogs absolutely LOVE these jerky treats. I have four did ranging from 90 lbs to 150 lbs, so we blue through treats! I have literally purchased 24 times. Yes, they're a little spendy, but don't you want to give your dog treats NOT made in China? Please say yes and buy them these! I would say at least 80% of jerky treats are made in China for dogs. Make sure you read the back of your bag and look for "made in China" in really small letters. If it doesn't have "made in America" or "made in USA" on the front of the bag, chances are its made in China and can make your dog very ill or even result in death. Google this if you haven't heard. It's tragic and sad that companies still allow their treats to be made there. Anyway, these are fabulous and have never made my dogs sick! A+++!
My dog LOVES these!!
I have a German Shepherd who is rather picky. We buy him very expensive dog food for sensitive stomach and skin. He sometimes won't eat it just because he's so finicky. All I do is break up one of these treats and put it in his food and he gobbles it up. He will do anything for one of these, including go to daycare. He's very devoted and doesn't like to leave me. But all I have to do is give one of these to the daycare worker and he gladly follows her. They are lean and low calorie so we don't have to worry about his weight with these either. Since he's neutered our vet warned us about watching his weight. He's very active, but he has stayed the same weight as before the surgery a year ago. Two thumbs up from the vet!!!
Best Treat for the Value Available
Love this product! My wife and I are extremely particular about the food and treats we buy for our dogs (Marvin and Tod) It isn't that they are pedigreed show dogs, but simply because we think of them as our furry, loyal, and fun loving kids. This isn't to say we don't love our bipedal children or they aren't just as fun, but they grow up, leave home and even when they are here, they refuse to sleep at the foot of our bed. The numerous cases of pets dying or getting gravely ill from eating non-domestic sourced or manufactured treats and food led to us researching every company we buy for Marvin and Tod. We avoid any Chinese manufactured products based on their track record with dog food and treats. We also look for U.S. sourced ingredients. TheHappyGree Chicken Jerky is our favorite of all the brands we've tested with our dogs. They love them like a fat kid loves cake. These treats are made from 100% Chicken Lean Chicken Breast with vegetable glycerin and a small amount of salt as a preservative. Unlike some dog foods/treats, when you open the bag you get this great aroma. HappyGree is also the best priced Chicken Jerky treat I've found. I buy them for our dogs, my Uncle's Dog, and my Sister-in-law's dog. Our dogs are getting old and this is by far their favorite treat and yes I admit we do give them a few more than the recommended number of treats per day, but there have been no adverse side affects. LIfe's too short for them not to have the best treats possible and as long as they don't have a weight problem, we will continue to let them overindulge from time to time on the Farmland Traditions treats.
Always uniform in size-shape-color and USA Sourced Product
This is the only product that is exactly what I have sought to give to my AKC show quality Golden Retriever. He came to me via Purebred Breeders - source for pets by celebrities such as Miley Cyrus & Kardashians. I am very, very careful as to source of food and treats for Marley - must not be from China, etc....USA only....and very careful about everything else in the products. He never refuses these. Since white meat chicken is low in fat this is a great choice when choosing treats. UPDATE 9-16-19: I feed my Golden one treat per each 10 lbs of weight i.e. 7 each morning in addition to his main food (Science Diet - Large Breed - Ages 1 - 5 from Amazon) and fill his half-gallon bowl with purified water from fridge (water from tap is chlorinated water from Mississippi River here and can see floaters in water in a glass held up to sunlight ..... so I don't give him anything I don't trust for drinking.
We call these 'puppy crack'
I love these and that they only have chicken and one preservative as their only ingredients. Reading the list of ingredients on other treats is quite concerning.... We have five little dogs and have given them one of these every night before we go to bed. They know when it's time without us even saying anything. They sense it's getting time and watch us like a hawk waiting for me to get up and head for the treat cupboard. We call them our little carpet sharks as they cluster up and walk around staring us down. We ran out of these once and tried another type of jerky, but they just sniffed at them and walked away. I make sure we always keep these in stock because I can't bear to disappoint my little fur babies again
